I’ve been teaching IB MYP for over six years, focusing on Language and Literature, Interdisciplinary Units, and the Personal Project. I enjoy guiding students through global contexts and helping them build the skills to express ideas confidently. The MYP’s emphasis on inquiry and reflection keeps every lesson fresh and meaningful.

I've always had a deep passion for language, literature, and the ways they shape how we think and communicate. For me, English is more than just reading texts—it's about uncovering perspectives and unlocking expression. Guiding students as they connect with characters, ideas, and their own voice is incredibly rewarding, and reminds me daily why I chose to teach IB English.

I am good at teaching Economics because I break down complex ideas into clear, relatable concepts. With years of experience in the IB curriculum, I help students understand everything from market structures to development economics. Seeing them connect theory to the real world—and grow in confidence—is what makes this work so rewarding.

Since 2015, I’ve been teaching IB Mathematics across international schools, supporting students through HL and SL content, IA projects, and exam preparation. I hold official IB training certifications and have also taught A-Level and IGCSE Maths. Many of my students have gone on to score 6s and 7s, with several earning top marks in global competitions and university entrance exams.

My students get 6 or 7/A* because I focus on building a strong foundation in core physics concepts and sharpening their problem-solving skills. I’ve taught IB Physics HL and SL since 2020, guiding students through topics like mechanics, fields, and energy. I also support IA and EE preparation, ensuring clarity, structure, and scientific depth in their work.

My name is Effie and I’ve been teaching IB Chemistry for the past 8 years. As a qualified teacher and experienced IA supervisor, I support HL and SL students with everything from complex calculations to lab report refinement. Outside the classroom, I love exploring the chemistry of cooking and often bring real-life applications into lessons to make learning more engaging and memorable.

My passion for critical thinking and interdisciplinary learning led me to specialise in IB Theory of Knowledge. With a background in philosophy and education, I’ve spent the past six years guiding students through the TOK essay and exhibition. I take pride in being a dedicated TOK teacher, committed to helping students explore complex ideas and develop the reflective skills essential to success in the IB Diploma.

I have been tutoring for 4 years now and truly enjoy teaching Computer Science. I focus on building a strong foundation in programming, theory, and algorithmic thinking so students can confidently tackle advanced topics. I work closely with students and parents to develop a personalised tutoring plan. I specialise in International Baccalaureate tutoring and support students with IB Computer Science, IAs, and EEs.
